Christa Bigness

Christa Bigness is a Residential Loan Officer with BayFirst. She started her career in banking over 25 years ago, focusing on residential mortgage lending for the most recent 15 years. Originally from Connecticut, Christa moved to Florida in 1989. She and her husband live in South Florida with their 4 adult children not far away. When away from work she spends her time boating, fishing and enjoying all that living in Florida has to offer!

Without going into detail, there were obstacles with scheduling an appraisal, rate lock-in dates and underwriting reviews. Christa was instrumental in going through, over or around each of the issues that arose that allowed the process to move forward.

There were times when we were thinking, enough is enough, and we just wanted to pull the plug on the whole deal. At those times Christa would say, " No, we're close to the end, we will get this done." And she was right.
